I’ve recently changed the name of the channel and I'm hoping "The Old Man's Workbench" conveys more of the simple, friendly and relatable vibe I'm trying to create here. In addition, the workbench itself is central to almost all content I post. Finally, "The Old Man's Workbench" is a sort of play on words because prior to being MY workbench, it was actually my dad's workbench - and it was made for him by HIS dad. So I guess that makes me a third-generation old man! Growing up, I learned a great deal of my practical "fix it/build it"  knowledge standing at that bench  - right there next to my old man, absorbing what he was doing, asking questions, getting in the way, and generally making a nuisance of myself. Good times! And now I have the privilege of sharing some of that with you!
