The background to this channel ...

Starting out simply as a fun thing for my grandkids, recording these vocal covers went on to become an enjoyable retirement pastime. They are all home-recorded, mostly using commercially available backing tracks, and I make no pretense of trying to impersonate the original performers.

Given my respect for those artists (and my own limitations), there is no intention to offend anybody's musical sensibilities ... nor to infringe anyone's intellectual property. I don't own the copyright to most of these tunes, so monetisation is certainly not the motive ... it is purely a hobby!

I've included lyrics to encourage a good old-fashioned singalong ... and it should be satisfying for you to realise that "Oh boy, I sure can sing it better than that old guy on the recording".  Now that's not such a bad thing, is it?

So, please don't be too critical ... whether you sing happily along with me, or just cry along in sympathy for me, please enjoy!
