Here to share valuable lessons learnt in both visual astronomy and astrophotography.  My visual setup is a 10 inch dobsonian telescope.  For astrophotography I use an 80mm apochromatic refractor aka a triplet with a dedicated tec-cooled mono IMX-571 sensor (APS-C) on an equatorial mount.

Although both hobbies are very involved, they are very different!  One is tech-heavy, requiring advanced processing software (I use PixInsight) and the other allows you to completely unplug and connect with the night sky in a far more direct manner.  Both are great!

Here you'll find me talking about gear related to both hobbies, and although I enjoy processing astro images, I leave the processing tutorials up to other vloggers.
