GEER Foundation, an autonomous body established in 1982 by Forest and Environment Department, Government of Gujarat. Since its inception, GEER Foundation is actively involved in making several documentary films on different subjects’ viz., Environment, Forests Wildlife, Biodiversity, Climate Change and Coastal / Wetlands, with an aim to increase the mass awareness about nature among the college students, youths, researchers and public in general. In order make these documentary films more easily accessible to the people, the GEER Foundation is pleased to launch a channel named “Oikos” -The Earth on YouTube Platform by the Honorable Ministers, Forest and Environment on the occasion of 1-Day International Wetland Seminar cum Technical Workshop at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar from 2nd – 6th January, 2023.
