ABCID is the international development branch of Australia’s national public broadcaster, the Australia Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). We are part of the ABC International division and part of the Asia-Pacific media community. ABCID supports, connects and empowers people in the Indo-Pacific region, and globally, to have a voice in the decision-making processes that affect their lives. We foster the development of inclusive media, broadcasting capacities, research and education. Based in Australia, we partner with media, civil society and government agencies, supporting them to collectively engage on issues affecting their communities. We offer advice and expertise in the Asia-Pacific region and globally.
