Hello CS Community ✨
Today, I am sharing about something very important for all CS students and professionals about latest Exposure Draft released by ICSI

 What is the Exposure Draft?
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has released a Strategic Action Plan Draft for 2026-2030 and invited suggestions and feedback from students and members before finalization. This is a big opportunity for all of us to influence how the CS course and profession evolves in the next 5 years.

 Key Points Covered :-
ICSI is planning significant changes like revising the passing criteria for exams (for example, moving to 50% minimum in each paper and 55% aggregate, which is tougher than before).
There’s proposal to restructure the course, training mechanisms, and governance systems to make the profession more future-ready.
Your suggestions are being actively sought especially around exam gap options, difficulty levels, evaluation methods, and training structure.

My Opinion on the ICSI Exposure Draft:
The ICSI Exposure Draft reflects an intention to strengthen the profession, but any proposed changes especially related to tougher passing criteria and exam structure must be supported by improvements in evaluation transparency, quality of study material, and practical training. Increasing academic rigor without first addressing existing challenges may add unnecessary pressure on students. I believe reforms should be balanced, student-centric, and focused not only on exams but also on real skill development and industry exposure, so that long-term professional growth is achieved in a fair and sustainable manner.

Why Your Feedback Matters
If passed without broad feedback, these changes could affect exam strategy, student workload, and training expectations.
By submitting suggestions now, CS students can ensure that their voices shape ICSI policy not just passive acceptance.
There’s a deadline to submit your feedback, so don’t wait!

 How To Submit Your Suggestions
