Might not seem like a lot, but let me tell you, I am...*RELIEVED* right now.

I decided a while ago that I wanted this channel to be in my name. The problem was that I had ANOTHER YouTube channel tied to "JasonHowell", my personal one that I started back in the mid-2000's. I tried everything to transfer the name over but nothing worked. YouTube had locked that username to my old account.

Eventually I realized that I had one final possibility. To delete my personal account (and all of its 900+ subscribers) and wait for it to release the ID someday. So I did that, little over a month ago. I made sure not to mention it to avoid anyone beating me to the punch.

And then, every day, I'd wake up and try to rename this channel to "JasonHowell". Every day, it would not work, and I was sweating bullets wondering if I sacrificed such an "early access" name for naught.

Well, today it all worked out and I'm breathing a sigh of relief. Going forward, this channel is now in MY name, the way it should have been from the get go.

I have learned so much about this journey in the past year. And I'm SO happy this all worked out! PHEW.
